All American Hand-Screw clamps have machined threads. This allows for high strength, low thread friction, close tolerance, and rapid reliable operation.
All metal parts are plated to prevent rust.
Handles have heavy steel ferrules which are pinned to the spindle with an
extra heavy spirol pin.
The spindles and swivel nuts are made of cold drawn carbon steel
for high tensile strength.
The jaws and handles are made of the finest quality hard maple and are
machined to close tolerances.
With a deep throat, the jaws can apply pressure over a broad area
or can apply pressure to a specific point.
Our clamps feature smooth surface preparation on the finish of the jaws
and round over of corners.
These clamps are preferred by cabinet makers because they will not
mar the work surface like steel jawed clamps.
